Fervent recording artist Big Daddy Weave releases its new song, “Love Come to Life,” to radio and digital retailers this week with a message of putting hands and feet to the gospel. The quintet’s message was well received as the song was the most added at Christian AC radio this week, with 18 adds out of the box. The track is available at all digital outlets now. Written by band members Mike Weaver and Jeremy Redmon with Jim Scherer, the song is a call to not just say we believe in love and helping those in need but to actually live a life that reflects the love of Christ in every way.
“I find that I say I love, but that sometimes it stops at words and doesn’t turn into action,” says lead singer Mike Weaver. “Jesus is Love Come to Life. My prayer to Him is for love to come to life in all of us—to be action, to be in what we do, not just what we say.”
Big Daddy Weave is intent on encouraging fans to put movement behind what they say they believe. The band will take the message on the road this fall on the “Love Come To Life” tour sponsored by World Vision, with special guests Kerrie Roberts and Luminate.
“Love Come to Life” is found on The Ultimate Collection, a 15-song set spanning the band’s 10-year career and featuring its biggest radio hits and fan favorites, available September 20.

Big Daddy Weave’s reputation for recording songs dear to the hearts of thousands is eclipsed only by their reputation for bringing incredible heart and passion to each and every live performance. Big Daddy Weave’s “Love Come To Life Tour” is no exception. The tour’s concept centers on seeing Love Come To Life in everyday actions. “I find that I say I love, but that sometimes it stops at words and doesn’t turn into action,” says lead singer Mike Weaver. “Jesus is Love Come To Life. My prayer to Him is for love to come to life in all of us, to be action, to be in what we do, not just what we say.” The Love Come To Life tour promises a one-of-a-kind experience that joins artist and audience in a unique, singular voice. Led by their well-known songs “You Found Me,” “What Life Would Be Like,” “Every Time I Breathe,” “Worthy of My Praise,” and their first number one song “Audience of One,” Big Daddy Weave takes their audience through a night of high-spirited joy and profoundly spiritual worship sprinkled with some musical surprises.
Big Daddy Weave formed when the band members were in college at the University of Mobile. They stepped into the spotlight in 2002 with the release of their second album One and Only, which debuted in SoundScan’s Christian Top 5 — the highest debut for any new artist that year. Since then, the evolution of their career has been swift. Big Daddy Weave have scored five No. 1 singles. The group’s 2009 Christmas album, Christ Is Come, won the Dove Award for Christmas Album of the Year.

After finishing in the top 10 on the show’s sixth season, the multi-talented singer/songwriter/producer went on to release his successful debut album Running Back To You, which delivered the Top 5 hit “Empty Me.” In 2010 Word Records was proud to release his sophomore album The Anatomy Of Broken, which includes Sligh’s current hit single “Only You Can Save.” This year Sligh was recognized at the 2010 BMI Country Awards as a co-writer for Rascal Flatts’ multi-format hit “Here Comes Goodbye.”
Luminate’s top-twenty debut single “Come Home” established this Tyler, TX-based group as one of the breakout artists of this past year. Their current single “Healing In Your Arms” delivers the message of love and worship that is so close to the band’s heart. Signed to Sparrow Records, their debut album was released January 25, 2011.

Dove award winning artists Big Daddy Weave and Aaron Shust, along with Andy Kirk, will be bringing their passionate and elevating live performances to 45 cities across the country while on the Hope Restored Tour from August 27th through November 14th. Sponsored by Wycliffe Bible Translators affiliate, The Seed Company, the tour will raise awareness for its innovative program OneVerse which provides Bible translations for all languages across the globe.
Tickets are currently on sale and special VIP tickets (admitting holders to a separate meet and greet time with the tour’s artists) are available in most markets and are already in demand.
With five number one singles under their belts, Big Daddy Weave’s reputation for recording songs dear to the hearts of thousands is eclipsed only by their reputation for bringing incredible heart and passion to each and every live performance. Big Daddy Weave’s live performances are one-of-a-kind experiences that join the artist and audience in a unique, singular voice and the Hope Restored tour expands that experience even further for the band. “We are so excited to be a part of this amazing season of evenings on the Hope Restored Tour!” says Big Daddy Weave lead singer Mike Weaver. “I’ve personally been a big fan of Aaron Shust's music for the past few years. I look forward to sharing the stage around the incredible and ever timely cause of translating the most important message of all time into every language on our planet. We also have shared some serious road time with our good friend and gifted worship leader Andy Kirk and are very glad to be reunited for the tour as well.”
Also appearing on the Hope Restored Tour is three time Dove Award winning artist Aaron Shust, who is best known for the song “My Savior, My God,” the second most played CCM song of the decade behind “I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe. The simple tune he penned for his local church took radio by storm, topping six different charts at once. “My Savior, My God” helped earn Aaron a trio of Dove Awards for Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and New Artist of the Year. It also propelled the Georgia-based singer into the spotlight and onto the road in a whirlwind of concerts, sharing the stage with the likes of MercyMe, Casting Crowns and Michael W. Smith. While on the Hope Restored Tour Aaron will be performing songs from his latest release, Take Over, and sharing the album’s central message of submission and relinquishing control to God. Shust comments, “One of the common threads that shows up in a lot of these songs is that we can’t achieve anything from our own efforts – certainly not salvation. We can work out our salvation, but it’s only through what Christ has done on the cross that we have any hope.”
Rounding out the tour is 22 year old, Nashville-based singer, Andy Kirk whose first single “Love Is the Only Thing,” from his debut album, Wake Up My Soul , hit #1 on Christian Radio Weekly’s Global AC indie chart, August 1, 2010. Before being approached by 1CN Records/Provident to record Wake Up My Soul Kirk lead music for one of America’s largest churches, LifeChurch in Oklahoma City, singing in front of over 3,000 -10,000 people a weekend. Kirk now serves as an Artist in Residence at Hopepark Church in Nashville in addition to keeping up with his nation-wide touring schedule.

As the five-member group embarked Sunday eve on an eastern U.S. Christmas tour with fellow industry veterans Newsong, Big Daddy Weave’s Christ Is Come is garnering nationwide attention among music critics. Comments from sources include:
Worship Leader magazine:
Beautifully produced Southern rock worship songs with the addition of original bridges and songs for you to use in your service of worship… Christ Is Come is high-quality acoustic rock backed by string sections and a bit of a Southern spice to mull on during this season.
About.com:
Touching delivery of tradition tunes and amazing original songs make Big Daddy Weave's Christmas project a winner in every category.
Christianity Today:
If ever Dave Matthews Band was to record a Christmas album, it might sound a bit like Christ Is Come—well, maybe minus the gospel-specific title track… These guys know how to make tight pop records with a little extra treat, and apparently, Christmastime is no exception.
Iowa City Press-Citizen:
Mike Weaver is charismatic and convincing, and this bedrock Christian quintet's unbroken 11 years on the road are evidenced in skin-tight arrangements, powerhouse chops (esp. hot-shot guitarist/producer/do-it-all Jeremy Redmon) and majestic, near-U2-worthy anthems.
StereoTruth.net:
