After a seven-year hiatus, Audio Adrenaline is back and will kick off their 2013 “Kings & Queens Tour” on March 1. The tour will run in over 30 cities across the U.S. and is sponsored by ChildFund International. This is the first tour for the band since announcing their return in September 2012. Audio Adrenaline’s Fair Trade Services debut Kings & Queens is slated to release March 12.
The “Kings & Queens Tour” will feature Dove Award winning bands Group 1 Crew and Seventh Day Slumber, as well as Manic Drive, winner of GMA Canada’s 2012 Hard Rock/Alternative Album of the Year.
Band members, Will McGinniss (bass), Kevin Max (lead vocals), Dave Ghazarian (guitar), Jared Byers (drums) and Jason Walker (keys) look forward to taking the stage as a re-formed band with the same heart and energy as before. Audio Adrenaline intends to give fans a heart-pumping show and be the voice for their non-profit, Hands & Feet Project, an organization dedicated to providing long-term, family-style care for orphaned and abandoned children in need of a home and family.
With the anticipated spring tour on the horizon and Audio Adrenaline’s label debut Kings & Queens releasing in March, the band's first radio single “Kings & Queens” is currently available on iTunes. More than 200,000 fans have viewed the song's inspiring official music video that was taped in Jacmel, Haiti at the Hands & Feet Project Children's Village, showcasing the beautiful children of Haiti.

Leading hip-hop/pop sensation, Group 1 Crew, release their fourth studio album, Fearless, on Fervent records today amid outstanding acclaim. The launch comes on the heels of their first No. 1 smash hit, the album’s lead track “He Said” (Featuring Chris August), which claimed the top spot on Billboard’s Christian CHR chart in May. With a No. 1 song under their belts, a top iTunes album debut, spots on the hottest tours and their new single “His Kind Of Love” which impacts radio on September 21, Group 1 Crew is only gaining momentum.
On Fearless, the duo showcase their ability to incorporate honest and heartfelt lyrics from their journey over the past few years with diverse musical styles ranging from hip-hop infused sounds to inspirational ballads. Group 1 Crew’s Blanca Reyes Callahan and Manwell Reyes created the album during a tumultuous period in their lives, emerging with a new-found strength after facing their challenges fearlessly. When asked to comment on the sound and accessibility of their new album, Manwell remarked, “This is music a Christian can play in front of their unchurched friends and we can be a bridge in the conversation.” Blanca adds, “Even in the face of craziness or the hurricane of emotions going on in your life, you need to always remain Fearless. When God’s called you to something great, don’t ever be afraid to step out in faith and don’t ever give up.”
The duo will be interviewed Wednesday in Colorado for Focus on the Family’s “Plugged In” and “Boundless” podcasts. WestCoastFiya.com will feature Group 1 Crew on their “All Access” live video chat, Thursday, September 13, at 8:30 pm CDT. Blanca and Manwell will also stop by Lifeway’s Nashville offices Friday for a free outdoors concert at 12:30 p.m. hosted by Wally from WAY-FM’s “The Wally Show.”
Group 1 Crew has received a considerable amount of early praise on the album, including the highlights below:
“…the pop-infused hip-hop duo is downright Fearless with both its musical ambitions (think Katy Perry and Rihanna meets Drake or Wiz Khalifa) and vulnerable lyrics that ultimately point to hope in the midst of heartache.” – Gospel Music Channel
“[On] "He Said" featuring Chris August…the three singers blend perfectly and bring home the biblical truth…each of these songs is a potential radio hit …[the album] features a bold Gospel message [and] I expect several of these songs to also resonate with radio listeners…” – New Release Tuesday
“And so, with their eyes wide open, hearts grounded in the reality of the pain of the world, Blanca and Manwell are placing their belief in grace, holding their heads and voices high and claiming fearlessness as their own.” – CCM Magazine
“Fearless is sure to be given a Dove Award Nomination for next year’s Dove Awards, as I smile at how Blanca and Manwell have stretched themselves musically and lyrically, providing a conglomeration of musical genres- rap, pop, anthems and ballads! One of the standout albums in September, Fearless is my favorite album from Group 1 Crew! Well done guys for creating such as well-produced and highly poignant album!” – Indie Vision Music
In addition to the launch of Fearless, Group 1 Crew will also be hitting the road on three of the top CCM tours including: Britt Nicole’s “You’re Worth More Than Gold Tour” “Winter Jam” and TobyMac’s “HITS DEEP Tour.”

After releasing his popular “Five-Two Television” last fall, KJ-52 is seeking out “Modern Day Heroes.” He is joined by Group 1 Crew for the upcoming co-headlining tour the “Modern Day Heroes,” which will kick off next month, February 2010. This tour will be filled with vertical rhymes, high energy dance moves, and possibly even a few surprises. As with all things that KJ-52 is involved with, this will not be the average concert, but include elements to reach out to the local youth and “heroes.”
The “Modern Day Heroes” tour involves two facets making this an unique experience for those attending. First, those fans that purchase their tickets online will have entry into a pre-show Firestarter Bible Study. Secondly, fans can nominate a local “Modern Day Hero” in each market online powered by HearItFirst.com at www.moderndayheroestour.com. The chosen “Hero” will have free access to the show and be honored by KJ-52 and Group 1 Crew.
Local “Hero”:
This person needs to exemplify dedication to ministry, his or her community, and others around the area. The selected hero will be honored in their city when the “Modern Day Hero” tour hits their town. Nominations for the heroes can be made online by clicking “Nominate Your Hero.”
Firestarter Bible Study:
KJ-52 and Group 1 Crew will implement and lead a Firestarter Bible Study walking through the book of Luke for local youth groups in each tour market. Interacting on a spiritual level and studying scripture prior to the concert is for those that purchase tickets prior to the show online. Purchase tickets at www.moderndayheroestour.com. By purchasing tickets online, your name will be on the Will Call list granting entry to the study.
Tour dates are being revealed daily at www.moderndayheroestour.com. The tour is sponsored by Compassion International and Hearitfirst.com.
About KJ-52:
Releasing his debut project in 2000, KJ-52 continued to do his “thing” for a total of seven projects released. Three of his four titles have scanned over 100,000 units—the only Christian hip-hop artist in history to do so. KJ-52 has become one of the most trusted names in music as a songwriter, producer, minister, and comic poet, in spite of many seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Let's not forget: He is an unabashed follower of Christ, he is white, and he is a rapper. In 2009, KJ-52 was once again nominated for the fourth consecutive year as CCM Magazine’s Favorite Hip Hop Artist in the Reader’s Choice poll. He also was honored with his fifth Dove Award.
Releasing “Five-Two Television” in September 2009, KJ-52’s project was said to be “making a run for best rap album of the year,” and debuted at #14 on Billboard's Heatseaker's chart. KJ-52 is on BEC Recordings. For more information, updates, blog, and tour dates visit: http://www.kj52.com also follow KJ-52 on Twitter: @kj52 .
About Group 1 Crew:
A self-professed entertainer, a pop diva, and a bona fide producer: that’s the makeup of breakout urban sensation Group 1 Crew, three everyday Latinos who rose above their circumstances and the middle-of-the-road to become one of the most exciting aggregates in faith-based music. Their 2008 release, Ordinary Dreamers (2009 Dove-winning “Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year”), the trio’s second album for Fervent Records, shattered any and all preconceptions created by their out-of-the-box, Dove-winning debut, Group 1 Crew (2008 "Rap/Hip Hop Album of the Year"), to position itself as one of the most unordinary offerings of the moment—an amalgam of rhythm and rhyme that takes the best of urban pop and hip-hop and turns them upside down. G1C challenge people to dream and pursue the calling God has given them. For more information, visit http://www.group1crew.com .
What’s
up HearItFirst fans!! We wanted to be the first to invite you to our website
www.group1crew.com to be a part of something really cool. We’re out to show
people how Ordinary Dreams can become huge, life-changing, awesome realities
with God at the helm of those dreams. Our heart for this idea is to show you
that everything and everyone begins their quest for their dreams in sometimes
small and seemingly insignificant ways. We started recording our records at
each others houses, using closets for a sound booth and our parents living
rooms for the actual studio. And now we are able to look back at that and
see that so many of our dreams have come to fruition.
As we see our dreams playing out, we will always remember where we began and
how we are still Ordinary Dreamers. Over the next 2 months we are going to roll
out exclusive content - everyday. There will be old video footage, clips of old
songs, pictures, contests, behind the scenes footage and more! Through this
content we hope you see where we have come from, and where we are going. We
hope you see our hearts and our dreams played out in our everyday lives. We
want to give you a ticket into our space so you can see what our dreams are
made of, how we are continuing to dream, the fun we are having and the love we
have for each of you!
Our prayer is that you find yourself somewhere within the timeline of our
journey … whether it be recording vocals in a hot closet, about to perform in a
showcase for a major label, trying out for the baseball team, auditioning for a
dance crew, dreaming to be a doctor or any big dream you have … we want you to
see that with dedication and belief in yourself and in the God that made you,
you too can climb your mountain of dreams. No one starts at the top. No one has
it all figured out, but we can share the stories that Christ has brought us
through in hopes that we can inspire each other to dream beyond our means. We
pray that your dreams are sparked by our meager beginnings and present
achievements and set ablaze every ounce of fear and insecurity. We love
you so much, dream wildly, dream freely....dream.
