(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Nov. 5, 2008 – New Inpop Records band Julian Drive readies for the release of its national label debut, My Coming Day. The album will be among Inpop Records first releases of the year, dropping January 27, 2009.
Originally intended as an independent project, producer Lynn Nichols (Switchfoot, Phil Keaggy) encouraged the band to think big for My Coming Day. “Julian Drive’s music represents the heartland of America in style, and the heart of God in spirit,” says Nichols. “It deserves a national platform, and I am excited to see the band, in partnership with Inpop Records, take their music and ministry to the masses.”
A band with Georgia roots, Julian Drive seeks relationships with people over sales. “We’re not interested in the rock star mentality,” says Shane Bowers (vocals/guitars). “We are much more interested in how we connect with the audience. If you come to one of our shows you’ll likely find us hanging out with the kids. That’s where our heart is.”
The album’s debut single, “From Your Hands,” is currently New & Active on the Radio & Records AC Monitored and AC Indicator charts. For more information on Julian Drive and My Coming Day, visit www.juliandrive.com or www.myspace.com/juliandrive.
