Gospel recording artist Vanessa Bell Armstrong is gearing up to record a new album entitled “The Experience." Expected for summer release, the album will be comprised of soul-stirring renditions of past hits as well as brand new music. The legendary singer has enlisted renowned gospel music songwriter/producer Donald Lawrence to produce all music for the project. The album will also include an in depth conversation with music historian and Chicago radio personality Dedry Jones. Armstrong will share her thoughts on her remarkable music career.
The recording will be held at the Harold Washington Cultural Center in Chicago, IL on Thursday, May 21. Doors open at 6:00pm and the program will begin promptly at 7:00pm. The event is free and open to the public on a first come first serve basis. Limited quantities, limit four tickets per person.
