Aaron Crider, worship artist and human rights advocate, has been chosen to perform at the 2010 inductions to the Christian Music Hall of Fame Visionary Awards on November 6 in Hendersonville, TN at TBN Trinity Music City. Tickets are free, but must be requested in advance.
Hosted by award winning artists David Meece and Babbie Mason, the Visionary Awards are given in 17 categories. Legendary gospel great Babbie Mason will be introducing Crider, and he will be performing as one of the 2010 Up and Coming Artists in Christian music. Crider will be performing the title track The Change from his latest album.
“It’s such an honor to be chosen to perform at the Visionary Awards,” states Crider. “When I look at the list of inductees, I see not only a list of people who faithfully moved forward the cause of Christ through music, but who directly impacted my personal walk with the Lord. I’m thrilled to be a part of this event honoring not only these artists, but the Savior we worship through song.”
November is proving to be a great month for the young artist, as he has also been chosen for HearItFirst.com’s Give Thanks promotion. Crider and 12 other worship artists have been selected as “must hear”. During the promotion, Aaron will be giving away the song Bless Your Name on the site.
Crider released his latest project, The Change, earlier this fall and is available online and in stores everywhere through New Day Christian Distribution. Produced by Steve Hindalong, the project is a thoughtful and challenging look at our call to worship God, despite our circumstances. Rooted in personal stories of grace and faith, The Change inspires and encourages.

Dallas, TX – Today, Worship Artist and human rights advocate Aaron Crider releases his new CD THE CHANGE through New Day Distribution. Produced by Steve Hindalong, THE CHANGE is a thoughtful and challenging look at our call to worship God, despite our circumstances. Rooted in personal stories of grace and faith, THE CHANGE inspires and encourages.
Early reviews of the CDs are coming in:
“An album worth paying attention to.” – Worship Leader
“The Change resonates much deeper and rings truer than most works of its ilk. The soaring, piano-driven "Hallelu" and his warm take on John Mark McMillan's modern classic "How He Loves" provide prime examples of a man who has come through a dark period with his faith intact and stronger as a result.” – Christianity Today
“Turning his real-life heartaches into declarations of musical praise, new worship artists Aaron Crider churns out an original collection of conversational corporate songs. Inspired by fireside chats with producer Steve Hindalong (City on a Hill, The Choir), The Change reflects Crider’s personal trek from sorrow to surrender (“the Change”) as well as his recent humanitarian involvement (“One Child Matters”), making apparent his delight is in the Lord no matter the circumstance.” – CCM Magazine
“Aaron Crider’s latest project ‘The Change’ is a powerful must have worshipful release.” – Christian Rockers Online
Aaron’s song “One Child Matters” has been adopted as the official theme song for the non-profit Mission of Mercy that Aaron supports. Mission of Mercy’s fight to end human trafficking and extreme poverty has struck a chord with the artist. Aaron has travelled extensively with the organization, speaking out for those who don’t have a voice.

Worship Artist and human rights advocate Aaron Crider will be releasing his third CD, The Change, September 7 through New Day Distribution. Produced by Steve Hindalong, The Change is a substantial step forward for the young songwriter.
Crider and his family have experienced incredible hardship, financially and emotionally, over the past few years, including the death of several family members, losing a set of twins to a miscarriage, and a son in early labor. Hindalong challenged Crider to dig deep lyrically and truly explore these challenges in his music. The result? An album that is full of questions yet resting in the knowledge that we can be content in not understanding everything that is going on in our world.
And reaching out and worshipping our Heavenly Father, even in the midst of struggles and sorrow.
“Steve was able to help me dig deeper lyrically,” Crider explains. “He stretched me to not write my first idea, the first cliché. This recording process taught me to grow in ways I never thought, to state ideas that hadn’t been said before instead of finding the easy rhyme scheme. I’m most certainly a better writer after spending weeks in the studio working on this project.”
The Change not only succeeds in an honest look at worship in the face of adversity, it also simply seeks to celebrate the Lord and creator of all. Songs like Hallelu, You Reign and Bless Your Name are songs designed to help lead the listener into a place of worship, whether in a church setting or just singing along in their car.
With a heart for social justice, Crider’s song One Child Matters has been chosen by Mission of Mercy to be the theme song for their Artist program. Crider just returned from a trip to the Philippines with Mission of Mercy, working with their projects focused on the healing and rescuing victims of human trafficking. Crider is also active with Project AK47, an organization that rescues and rehabilitates child soldiers in Latin American and Southeast Asia.
"Seeing human trafficking first hand in the Philippines and looking into the eyes of the girls who have been rescued made me realize how tragic and real this issue is,” states Crider. “It also made me realize how urgent it is that we all do something about it."
“Mission of Mercy has been blessed by our relationship with Aaron Crider,” explains Mark Pluimer, the President of Mission of Mercy. “Aaron’s musical gift and passion for the impoverished children of the world has translated into thousands of kids around the world receiving the care they need. We thank god for joining Aaron together with Mission of Mercy. It’s artists like Aaron that the world of music needs.”
