Rocketown records imprint RKT artist The Turning is an elaborate Christian rock group from Chattanooga, TN. The band is made up by Jacob McGinnis Matt Warren, Jeff Goff and Jeremy Little. The Turning got its start when, Matt, Jeff and Jeremy decided to try their hand at modern rock, after leading worship in various hometown churches. The three set to work creating bass, drum, electric guitar tracks that were musically gripping, and the songs they crafted would make perfect sense alongside everything from Delirious to Foo Fighters to Switchfoot. Later the band found Jacob and asked him to be apart as the lead vocalist.
Learning to Lose is a great debut, one of the best rock acts this year! The band has an amazing sound, partially because of the way they combine so many guitar riffs with their guitar rhythms.
