Experience and environment, according to daydreamer, is what they want to offer people in their music and live performances. "We hope people experience something transcendent, something unique, something of God, when they listen to our music" says Sean, lead vocalist/guitarist of daydreamer. "We want to create experiences and environments that engage people in a real wayâ?¦ all encompassing." With that as their mantra, the guys of daydreamer set out to do more that just make good music and perform, they want to encounter God along with their audience.

Daydreamer formed in 2003 when Sean Hall and Jason Houtsma, two successful solo musicians, began leading worship together for a college service at their local church in Bellingham, WA, a beautiful coastal town with a large college age population. What started as a few students has grown to over 500 passionate worshippers. Daydreamer began co-writing and leading some original songs for worship in these gatherings which has now led to two independent albums, the latter of which to be released fall of 2005, and a swelling fan base with opportunities to perform for thousands. The buzz accelerated for daydreamer when two local radio stations began to spin their songs. "Water", a popular daydreamer song, became a most requested song on The Effect, a radio network with multiple stations. The song is now used all around the world in youth worship gatherings. This gained the attention of The Rock Productions, the largest concert promoter in the area, which is now helping with booking and publicity for the band.

"We are full of anticipation and excitement for the future of daydreamer" says Jason, guitarist for the band. "There is a sense within us that this is only the beginning." Their passion for creating worship music that is off the beaten path has found a home in their worship gatherings and on their upcoming fall indie album, *When the Stars Burn Out*. They set out to explore both worship and artistic excellence and have found a unique sound that speaks to them and their audience. Jason continues, "There is nothing like creating music you loveâ?¦I can't imagine doing anything else." And when you talk with these guys or see them perform you know that it's true: they love it. And no matter what the future holds for daydreamer, they won't let that change. They have added 3 new members to make it a full band. ...
