"Reflections" is the debut independent release for the James Lavender Band. The band has been busy the last year leading and connecting people with God through corporate worship through-out the Corpus Christi area. Originally from Austin, Texas, James has spent the last 8 years leading corporate worship all over the place. James has shared the stage with major christian artists such as Sanctus Real, Bleach, TAIT, and debuted Carnegie Hall in New York in 2006. "I just want people to be inspired and amazed by everything God is doing around them because...well...I have been inspired and amazed by everything that God has and is doing in and around me."
It was out of the bands desire to be Reflection's of Christ in their lives that their debut album, Reflections, came to be. The project opens up with reflections of God's love for us (You Are There, Matchless One). The band then takes the audience through moments of inspiring corporate worship (Hear Your People, Ancient of Days, All We Need, Who Do You), moments of personal worship (Greatest Love I Know, Reflections, Your Love Has Won Me Over), and concludes with a message of hope in the life that is to come (My Forever). "This whole project was intended to be nothing more than an offering to the One who has given so much to us already. And we hope and pray that it inspires you to see all the reflections of God in your own lives so that you could continue, or begin to, live as reflections of Him." ... |
